China Manufacture Polyquaternium-7 PQ-7 CAS26590-05-6
Polyquaternium-7, commonly called PQ-7 for short, is a cationic polyelectrolyte widely used in hair care and skin care products, for its anti-static and film-forming properties. It is one of the most widely produced and consumed cationic copolymers today. Similar to PQ-10, PQ-7 features excellent compatibility with anionic surfactant systems. It doesn't bond with anionic surfactants and keeps the compound clear and homogeneous.
In hair care, it improves lubricity significantly and gives the slip to the hair for easier wet-combing, and provides suppleness and sheen to the hair after drying; In skin care, it forms a protective thin film on the skin and helps retain moisture and other functional ingredients.

Stability/Shelf life:
Stable at a wide pH range, except in strong acid and alkali.
Pack in tight-closed containers(drums or tanks); Store in a dry, ventilated and cool place; Kept away from direct sun and water.
Under proper storage conditions, the shelf life of PQ-7 is 12 months.
Recommended dosage:
The recommended dosage of PQ-7 in hair and skin care products is 1.0%-6.0%.
