Zirconium wire woven mesh is a high melting point metal woven mesh with a density of 6.49g/cm³, a melting point of 1850 ℃, and a boiling point of 4370 ℃. The surface of pure zirconium mesh is prone to forming an oxide film, which has a metallic luster and therefore has a similar appearance to steel. Zirconium wire mesh has excellent corrosion resistance, which is superior to titanium. It is insoluble in hydrofluoric acid and aqua regia. In high-temperature environments, it can react with non-metallic elements and many metallic elements to form solid solution compounds (such as in the preparation of zirconium nitride wire mesh metal matrix composites).
