Installation location:
The temperature measurement point should avoid turbulent areas and be inserted at a depth ≥ 15 times the diameter of the sheath to ensure accuracy.
The threaded area needs to be coated with high-temperature sealant to prevent leakage (such as Nickel Anti Size recommended by GE).
Troubleshooting:
Reading drift: Check for thermocouple wire oxidation or sheath rupture (replacement required).
Signal loss: Verify that the terminal of the junction box is loose or the compensating wire is broken.
Calibration cycle: It is recommended to calibrate the high temperature point once a year (such as using a tube type calibration furnace).
