Tomato hooks, are an essential part of the cultivation of vined vegetables in professional greenhouse horticulture. wire hook is made of high quality galvanized steel and must have the right steel thickness. In this way the hook is able to carry the weight of the tomato plant. This high wire growing method has become the method for tomato greenhouse production worldwide. After croprotation, the hooks are hung on the crop wire in the greenhouse. Young plants are stringed with twine of the hooks to support and increase growth of plants in the right way. Once their tops reach the end of the twine, the high wire hooks needs to be lowered and leaned forward in the row. With this method the twine is unwound, so the plant can be clipped or twisted again. Especially in tomato cultivation, hooks with twine are used for to trellis crops. In addition, high wire hooks are more and more often used in cucumber cultivation.
