Titanium Alloy Pipe
Titanium Alloy Pipe is a type of pipe made of titanium alloy, characterized by high strength, good corrosion resistance, and low density. They are widely used in aerospace, chemical, petroleum, seawater desalination, medical equipment and other fields. The advantages of titanium alloy pipes include excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, good welding performance, and machinability.
The production process of titanium alloy pipes includes two types: seamless pipes and welded pipes. Seamless titanium alloy tubes are produced through cold rolling or hot rolling processes, with uniform wall thickness and good overall performance, and are typically used in demanding applications. Welded titanium alloy pipes are made by welding titanium alloy plates or strips together through welding processes, with relatively low production costs. However, the strength and corrosion resistance of welded joints may be slightly inferior to seamless pipes.
The performance of titanium alloy tubes is influenced by their alloy composition. Common titanium alloys include industrial pure titanium (such as TA1, TA2), Ti-6Al-4V (TC4), etc. They exhibit different mechanical properties and corrosion resistance in different applications. For example, Ti-6Al-4V is a widely used titanium alloy with excellent comprehensive properties, suitable for manufacturing aircraft engine compressor components, rockets, missiles, and structural components of high-speed aircraft.
In the oil and gas industry, titanium alloy pipes are favored for their corrosion resistance and high strength, especially in corrosive environments with high sulfur and acid content. Titanium alloy oil pipes, titanium alloy drill rods, and titanium alloy gathering and transportation pipelines have important applications in these industries.
In addition, titanium alloy pipes are also used in marine engineering, such as deep-sea oil drilling and production risers, which can resist the erosion of seawater and provide long-term service life.

The main grades of titanium tubes include commercial pure titanium (CP) and titanium alloys. Commercial pure titanium has different grades based on purity and performance differences, such as:
-Grade 1: The softest titanium alloy with the highest ductility, excellent cold forming properties, and outstanding corrosion resistance. It also has excellent welding performance and high impact toughness.
-Grade 2 * *: Slightly stronger than Grade 1, with similar corrosion resistance, good weldability, and formability/ductility.
-Grade 3 * *: Slightly stronger than Grade 2, but not as good as Grade 4, with reasonable weldability and moderate cold formability/ductility.
-Grade 4 * *: Stronger than Grade 2 and Grade 3, with reasonable weldability, but reduced ductility and cold formability.
Titanium alloys include:
-Grade 5 (Titanium 6Al-4V): This is the most commonly used titanium alloy, providing an excellent combination of high strength and toughness. It has good welding and forming characteristics and is widely used in aerospace, chemical processing, marine and medical fields.
-Grade 9 (Titanium 3Al-2.5V): Has moderate strength, between Grade 4 and Grade 5. It has excellent corrosion resistance and can be used at temperatures higher than Grade 1 to Grade 4.
-Grade 12 (Ti-0.3-Mo-0.8Ni): Similar to Grade 2 and Grade 3, but containing 0.3% molybdenum and 0.8% nickel, providing enhanced corrosion resistance.
These grades of titanium tubes have a wide range of applications in different industrial sectors, including aerospace, chemical processing, marine, medical, and energy industries. The selection of the appropriate grade of titanium tube usually depends on the specific requirements of the application, including the required mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and processability.

A1: Our main products are Steel Pipes like Stainless tube, Aluminized tube, Galvanized tube, Carbon steel tube and etc.
Q2. How about your delivery time?
A2: Normally, it will take 30 days after receiving your advance payment. But we always keep 1000mt Raw material in stock. If your ordered size match our stock, it may shorten to 10 or 15 days.
Q3. What's your MOQ?
A3: 20-25tons a container, mixed acceptable.
Q4. What's your payment terms?
A4: 30% down-payment after signing the contract, 70% should be remit after inspection but before shipment based on FOB terms; 30% down-payment after signing the contract, 70% against the copy of BL based on CIF terms.
Q5. Can you produce according to the samples?
A5: Yes, we have 3 own factories and technical supporters which enable us to produce according to samples or technical drawings. We can build the molds and fixtures. Also sample in stock is free, as long as you contact us.
Q6. How can you ensure the quality?
A6: The raw materials which using to produce the pipe are all from the first classic mills in China like Valin Steel, Ma steel, Shougang. Even we keep POSCO's raw material perennial. We arranged third party inspection company to make inspection for each order. The third party inspection specified by customer is acceptable.
