PA66 engineering plastic has high tensile strength, good impact resistance, excellent wear resistance, chemical resistance and low friction coefficient. Polyamide Nylon PA66 Resin
PA66 plastic material is translucent or opaque milky white crystalline polymer, with plasticity. Density 1.15g/cm3. Melting point 252℃. Embrittlement temperature -30℃. Thermal decomposition temperature is greater than 350℃. Continuous heat resistance 80-120℃, equilibrium water absorption rate 2.5%. Resistant to acids, alkalis, most inorganic salt solutions, halogenated alkanes, hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and other corrosion, but soluble in phenol, formic acid and other polar solvents. It has excellent abrasion resistance, self-lubricating property and high mechanical strength. However, the water absorption is large, and thus the dimensional stability is poor PA66 is the highest mechanical strength of PA series, the most widely used species, because of its high crystallinity, so its rigidity, heat resistance are higher.
