Whalesens HEPA air filter series divided into four types: Mini-pleat filter, Separator filter, V-bank filter, Hooded terminal filter.
The introduction of V-bank filter
V-bank filter also known as compact filter; Whalesens's V-bank filter offer high efficiency, low-pressure drop, long filter life, and filter media that resists moisture. These filters are designed to tolerate high velocities and turbulence, making them suitable for many types of air handling systems. The filter contains no metal parts, eliminating the risk of corrosion. Whalesens high efficiency V-bank filters are made of lightweight plastic for easy handling and transportation. The high-quality build gives our filters longer performance life, which reduces maintenance and replacement costs.

V-bank air filter is compact filter used in HVAC applications as high efficiency filters in industrial, commercial, institutional applications to improve indoor air quality and comfort. The filters in the supply air are used as second filter stages, or as prefilters for cleanroom process applications. The filters are also used in the exhaust air or in recirculation systems to protect the air handling units. V-bank filters / Compact filters are not subject to varying HVAC system airflow and some are designed for turbulent air applications.
It features a large filtration area, high dust-holding capacity, low resistance, low operating costs, and easy installation, making it interchangeable with common bag filters. Made from glass fiber or polypropylene materials, the frame options include plastic, aluminum, galvanized steel, and stainless steel.
Operating Principle
It offers excellent efficiency in filtering fine particles, capturing 99.99% of 0.3 micron dust particles. The design airflow can reach up to 4200 cubic meters per hour, suitable for environments requiring high airflow.
Standard configurations include two-sided four-sided, three-sided six-sided, four-sided eight-sided, and five-sided ten-sided designs. Filtration grades range from F6 to H14.
Rigorous performance testing ensures a standard thickness of 292mm, with widths and lengths not exceeding 610mm, making it perfect for tight installation spaces.
Common sizes are 287x287x292/2V, 592x287x292/4V, 490x490x292/3V, and 590x590x292/4V.
Its superior bacterial filtration performance makes it widely used in electronics, optics, semiconductors, surface treatment, painting, chemicals, biopharmaceuticals, hospitals, automotive industries, and more.
