WORKING PRINCIPLE
The Böhme Abrasion Tester operates by rotating a test specimen under a defined abrasive load on a circular steel disc. Abrasive material (such as corundum sand) is applied, simulating wear conditions similar to real-world use. The volume loss due to abrasion is then measured, determining the material’s resistance to mechanical wear.
