The structure of the edge blocking belt conveyor is a box shaped hopper formed by attaching freely expandable rubber wave shaped vertical "skirts" on both sides of a flat rubber conveyor belt, and attaching horizontal partitions of certain strength and elasticity between the skirts, allowing materials to be continuously conveyed in the hopper. For materials with special requirements for transportation, such as high temperature, materials with acidic, alkaline, oily substances or organic solvents, special edge blocking conveyor belts are required.
