Sealed insulating glass, also known as double-glazed or insulated glass, consists of two or more glass panes separated by a spacer and hermetically sealed to form a single unit. The space between the panes is filled with dry air or inert gases (e.g., argon, krypton) to enhance thermal and acoustic insulation. This design significantly improves energy efficiency, noise reduction, and condensation resistance compared to single-pane glass.
