Air Knife Kraft Paper Coating Machine

The Air knife coating machine is a conformal coating machine, which refers to the coating only adhering to the surface of the base paper without improving the flatness of the paper. Scraper coating is different from air knife coating. Scrapers embed the coating into the pits on the paper surface and scrape off excess coating. Usually, a measuring rod or scraper is used for coating, and after filling the paper surface, an air knife is used for surface coating.

The main advantages of the air knife paper coating machine are:

(2) Not in contact with coatings, especially suitable for the application of pressure-sensitive coatings.

Disadvantage: The air knife is prone to local blockage by dry paint, resulting in coating marks.
