The microwave digestion tank(vessel) is composed of an outer tank (sheath,outer vessel) and an inserted digestion tank (inner vessel liner). Such a combined tank can be separated.
The combined tank is generally composed of a shell,a frame (intermediate layer), and an inserted digestion tank, and some combined tanks do not use an intermediate layer.
The shell(protection shield) materials are composite fiber,PEEK,high temperature ceramics,Ultem-100 (Ultem materials have basically been eliminated).
The frame is mainly made of PFA and high-strength engineering plastics.
The inner digestion vessel liner is in direct contact with the sample and acid, and the acid resistance, temperature resistance and high pressure performance are the primary considerations.
There are generally 4 kinds of materials for the insertion digestion liner,PTFE,TFM,PFA,Quartz,the first three are all fluoroplastic types. Quartz digestion Vessel Liners cannot be used alone and should be sheathed.
Compared with the three kinds of fluoroplastics,TFM is undoubtedly the best digestion material, so at present, the inserted digestion tanks of the high-pressure digestion tanks of the imported microwave digestion system are generally made of TFM material.
Generally,PFA and PTFE can only be used as medium and low pressure digestion vessels Liner.
