USES:
Cooling water systems: HPMA is added to prevent the formation of scale deposits on heat transfer surfaces and to inhibit corrosion of metal components in cooling water systems.
Boiler water treatment: HPMA helps to control scale formation and corrosion in boiler systems, improving heat transfer efficiency and extending equipment lifespan.
Industrial water systems: HPMA is used in industrial processes involving water, such as pulp and paper manufacturing, textile processing, and oilfield operations, to prevent scale formation and protect equipment.
Reverse osmosis (RO) systems: HPMA is added to RO membranes to inhibit scaling caused by minerals and salts, ensuring efficient operation of the RO system.
Detergent formulations: HPMA is used as a builder and chelating agent in detergent formulations, enhancing the cleaning performance by preventing the precipitation of hardness ions.
