Luggage and Bags Testing
In response to increasing demands for high quality, problem-free goods, our lab conducts quality control testing on a wide range of luggage and bag items.
Luggage, bags, and handbags are designed to ensure the safe transit of other valuable personal items. It is, therefore, necessary to test for strength of fastening, buckles, handles and wheels/rollers. The strength of strap fastenings is an important consideration in the quality assessment of handbags and luggage. Our lab can carry out all strength tests utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to assess the risk of strap failures, whether at fastenings (e.g., buckles) or where the strap is attached to the body of the item itself. In addition to fastness of color to various agencies, Our labs have extensive expertise to test for the intended performance of your luggage, ensuring its safety.
In an era where global concern to “go green” complements a simultaneous need to ban and/or restrict hazardous substances in consumer products, end-user safety is at the very forefront of Our lab’s mission. Legal requirements in many countries, particularly in the European Union, mandate that products, such as clothing, bedding, towels, hairpieces, wigs, hats, diapers and other sanitary products, footwear, gloves, watch straps, belts, purses/wallets, briefcases, chair covers, toys and others, that have the potential for direct and prolonged skin or oral contact, are to be tested for high or unacceptable levels of suspected carcinogens or allergenic substances like the following:
