Tester Description
HSU-01 high-speed unwinding force tester, also known as a tape unwind tester, is a machine designed to measure the force required to unwind adhesive tapes from their rolls at a rapid, controlled speed.
One end of the tape is securely attached to a fixture, often a rotating mandrel or spindle, which simulates the way the tape would be unwound during actual use. The other end of the tape is anchored.
The tester is programmed to unwind the tape at a predetermined high speed, often measured in inches per minute (IPM) or millimeters per second (mm/s). This speed is set in accordance with the testing standards or specific application requirements.
As the tape unwinds, the tester measures the force or tension required to keep the tape moving at the defined speed. This force is continuously monitored and recorded, including the maximum force and average force throughout the unwinding process.
The high-speed unwinding tester provides valuable insights into how adhesive tapes behave when unrolled at rapid speeds, ensuring that the tape performs as expected in various applications. It's a critical quality control tool for manufacturers, helping them maintain consistent tape quality and meet industry standards.
The HSU-01 is PLC controlled and HMI touch screen model. The Servo motor is used for a stable movement in the test.
