Pendulum Impact Tester
Background

Application
The PIT-01 Pendulum Impact Tester is a specialized device designed to quantitatively measure the impact resistance of various materials, especially thin films, sheets, composites, foils, and paper. It assesses a material's ability to withstand sudden impacts by quantifying the energy required to cause rupture or penetration at the specimen's center. This information is crucial for material characterization, product development, and quality assurance in industries such as packaging, automotive, construction, and composites.
Technical Features
1. PLC Control and HMI Touch Screen: The unit is controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) with industrial-level stability. It features an easy-to-use Human-Machine Interface (HMI) for convenient operation and control.
2. Pneumatic Specimen Clamping: The tester employs pneumatic clamping to securely hold specimens in place during testing. This ensures consistent and reliable clamping for accurate results.
3. Pendulum Automatic Release: The pendulum, a crucial component of the impact test, is automatically released, ensuring precision and repeatability in the testing process.
4. Data Auto Statistics: It is equipped with a data auto statistics feature, which means it can automatically collect and analyze data from multiple test runs.
5. Precise Angle Measurement: The PIT-01 offers precise angle measurement capabilities. This is important for accurately calculating the energy absorbed during impact, a critical parameter in impact resistance testing.
6. Microprinter: The unit comes with a built-in microprinter for immediate reporting of test results, allows for quick analysis of test outcomes.
7. RS232 Port and Software (Optional): Ttester may include an RS232 port and optional software to further analyze and store test data on a computer.
