H-shaped steel is a more optimized section of sectional area, which is more rational than more rational economic section, because its section is the same name as "H". Starting from the end of July, steel mills have concentrated on reducing production and carrying out maintenance. Starting from August, the scale of maintenance has been further expanded. According to incomplete statistics, as of August 12 (continuously updated), a total of 79 steel mills have launched maintenance plans. Preliminary calculations show that the reduction in production and maintenance has affected the total output of construction steel by about 5.81 million tons. Compared with the previous period (July 31), the number of steel mills undergoing maintenance increased by 41, affecting the output by 2.46 million tons.
