Extension Rods
The intermediate rod, also known as the intermediate rod, is a key component at the boundary between the power end and the hydraulic end. It is an important part that connects the crosshead and the piston rod, and its function is to transmit power to the hydraulic end. One end of it is connected to the crosshead, and the other end is connected to the piston rod through a clamp. Its outer surface is equipped with a packing box assembly. In reciprocating motion, the outer circle of the intermediate rod and the sealing element in the packing box rub against each other. In order to ensure wear resistance, the outer surface of the intermediate rod is treated with hard chrome plating. The material of the middle rod is 35CrMo, and after surface chrome plating and precision grinding, the surface is smooth, greatly improving wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
