Geraniol

Geraniol is a colorless to yellow oily liquid. It has a mild, sweet rose smell with bitter taste. Soluble in organic solvent, slightly soluble in water. Melting point -15 °C, boiling point 229-230 °C (lit.), density 0.879 g/mL at 20 °C (lit.), vapor density 5.31 (vs air), vapor pressure ~0.2 mm Hg (20 °C), refractive index n20/D 1.474(lit.).
