Product Description
Sodium bentonite waterproof blanket (GCL) is a new type of geosynthetic material.
It is a composite anti-seepage material made of a layer of clay or other low permeability mineral material outer membrane geotextile or geomembrane by means of needle punching or sewing.
The company uses highly expansive sodium bentonite, which is characterized by swelling after encountering water, generating hydration, forming impermeable gel.
At the same time, this bentonite has the ability to store water, and its absorption and water content can reach more than 10 times of its own weight.
Product Features
1. Compared with geotextile membranes, its advantages mainly lie in:
a) The dense waterproof and waterproof performance is good, and the bentonite forms a dense waterproof gel membrane under normal water pressure.
b) Good flexibility, able to adapt well to uneven precipitation.
c) Long term waterproof ability, bentonite is a natural inorganic mineral material that will not undergo corrosion and aging.
d) The thickness of water absorption is increased several times, making it less prone to breakage. Even in the event of breakage, it has the ability to self repair.
2. Our company's GCL bentonite waterproof blanket has the following advantages:
a) Adopting advanced production equipment both domestically and internationally, the needle is needle punched in a disorderly and irregular pattern, preventing the rolling and sliding of bentonite and facilitating uniform absorption.
b) Due to the improvement of production equipment, the product width can be adjusted within the range of 2m-6m according to the needs of the user.

Application Scope
Sodium based bentonite waterproof blankets are widely used in anti-seepage projects such as landfills, golf courses, artificial lakes, and water storage power stations.
