Description

UKCA is the abbreviation for UK Conformity Assessed. On February 2, 2019, the UK government announced that it would adopt the UKCA labeling scheme in the absence of an agreement to Brexit. After March 29, trade with the UK will be conducted in accordance with World Trade Organization (WTO) rules. The UKCA logo, like the CE logo, is the responsibility of the manufacturer to ensure that the product meets the standards stipulated by laws and regulations, and to make corresponding labeling on the product after self declaration according to the prescribed procedures. Most products currently within the scope of CE mark control must be labeled with UKCA if they are to be exported to the UK market (England, Wales, and Scotland) in the future. UKCA labeling is not applicable to products entering Northern Ireland.
