Duck Wax for Plucking Plumelet of Poultry
WJWAX offers Livestock&Poultry Defeathering wax (Abbreviated as Duck wax), which is green, non-toxic, and completely devoid of rosin. Duck wax can be used for plucking and hair removal of poultry such as chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, etc.
This poultry wax has the advantages of no irritating odor, low melting point (58-62 ℃), low loss rate, strong adhesion, high hair removal rate, and can be reused.
"Duck wax" refers to a type of wax that is used in the process of plucking the plumelets (down feathers) of poultry, particularly ducks. It is a specialized wax that helps facilitate the removal of small feathers during the feather plucking process. When heated, the wax is applied to the bird's skin, and as it cools and solidifies, it adheres to the plumelets. This allows for easier and more efficient removal of the feathers, minimizing damage to the bird's skin.
The wax acts as a temporary adhesive, providing a grip on the feathers, making them easier to pull out without causing excessive pain or discomfort to the bird. After plucking, the solidified wax and feathers are typically removed together, leaving the bird's skin clean and ready for further processing.
Duck wax is specifically formulated for this purpose and is often made from a blend of waxes, including paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax, and other additives that provide the desired properties of adhesion, flexibility, and easy removal.
