Customized Modification of Various Models and Specifications of Track Chassis
The tracked chassis walking mechanism is widely used in field work vehicles such as construction machinery and tractors. The walking conditions are harsh, requiring the walking mechanism to have sufficient strength and stiffness, as well as good walking and turning capabilities. The tracks are in contact with the ground, and the drive wheels are not in contact with the ground. When the motor drives the drive wheel to rotate, the drive wheel continuously rolls up the track from the rear through the meshing between the teeth on the drive wheel and the track chain under the action of the reducer driving torque. The grounded part of the track exerts a backward force on the ground, and the ground correspondingly exerts a forward reaction force on the track, which is the driving force that drives the machine forward. When the driving force is sufficient to overcome walking resistance, the supporting wheels roll forward on the surface of the track, causing the machine to move forward. The front and rear tracks of the entire machine's track walking mechanism can be turned separately, resulting in a smaller turning radius.
The crawler walking device consists of a "four wheel belt" (driving wheel, supporting wheel, guide wheel, towing wheel, and track), a tensioning device and buffer spring, and a walking mechanism. As shown in the following figure.
1. Track
Tracks are flexible chain links driven by active wheels, surrounding the active wheels, load-bearing wheels, inducers, and support rollers. The track is composed of track shoes and track pins. The track pin connects the track plates together to form the track link. The two ends of the track shoes have holes that mesh with the driving wheels, and there are guide teeth in the middle to regulate the track and prevent turning or tilting of the driving shoes
