NSK self-aligning ball bearing features

Self aligning ball bearings can withstand large radial loads as well as certain axial loads. The outer ring raceway of this type of bearing is spherical, so it has centering performance. When the shaft is bent or tilted under force and the relative inclination between the inner ring centerline and the outer ring centerline does not exceed 1 ° to 2.5 °, the bearing can still work.

There are two types of inner holes in self-aligning ball bearings: cylindrical and conical. The taper of the conical inner hole is 1:1 2 or 1:30. In order to enhance the lubrication performance of the bearing, an annular oil groove and three evenly distributed oil holes are machined on the outer ring of the bearing.

NSK self-aligning ball bearing structure

The self-aligning ball bearing with dust cover and sealing ring has been filled with an appropriate amount of lubricating grease during assembly. It should not be heated or cleaned before installation, and does not need to be lubricated during use. It is suitable for operating temperatures between -30 and+120 .

NSK self-aligning ball bearing usage

Self aligning ball bearings are mainly used for precision instruments, low noise motors, automobiles, motorcycles, and general machinery. They are a widely used type of bearing in the mechanical industry
