13. What are lift loops (straps)?Lift loop, as the name suggests, is the strap on top of the bag and is used for lifting the bag during transportation. This is one of the most important part of a bulk bag since the strength of the loops determines the whether or not the material can be delivered safely to the destination.Commonly, there are three types of lift loops used in bulk bag. The first one is cross corner loops. We can easily recognize the loop as it was sewn onto the lower body of the bag with a round loop on top.The second one is corner seam loop. In each corner there is a lift loop. The third one is stevedore straps. This feature is actually an extra strap added to the above two straps.This addition makes it easier for forklift or other lifting machines to transport bulk bag with minimum risk of breakage.
Therefore, the material used for making loops should have large bearing capacity so that the bulk bag will not fall off from the crane or hook system easily and compromise the environment.14. Can I use a crane to lift a bulk bag?As we said earlier in the article. When transporting bulk bag, there will be a hook or crane system specialized for the shipping of bulk bags. Three different bulk bags can all be lifted easily through such systems.15. Can I print on to a bulk bag?The raw material used for producing bulk bag is normally woven polypropylene fabric, they look good in ink printing.
