AC890 is a compact design with system capable drivers that enable open loop/closed loop speed and position control for single or multi drive AC induction or servo motor applications.

Operating mode
AC690+can be configured to different operating modes by users:
Open loop (V/F) control
This mode is suitable for basic speed control or multi motor parallel control.
Sensorless vector control
Through its cutting-edge sensorless vector algorithm, AC890 provides high starting torque and fast speed regulation without the need for any speed measurement devices.
Closed-loop vector control
AC890 with encoder feedback option can achieve full closed-loop magnetic flux vector performance. Provide 100% full load static torque and high dynamic response speed loop. Meet the vast majority of application needs.
PMAC servo control
Drive permanent magnet servo motors, such as TMW motors.
AFE for line regeneration
Using this configuration, it is used in situations where 4-Q or continuous braking is required, where regenerative energy is fed back to the power grid, ensuring a power factor of 1 and a very low current harmonic content (THD less than 3%).
Compatible with multiple feedback devices
AC890 is compatible with any AC motor and any speed/position feedback option. By utilizing this flexibility, you don't need to replace existing AC motors to meet high-performance requirements, saving you time and money.

Modular design concept brings compact design solution space
Safe torque shutdown - STO
AC890PX uses STO function as standard equipment, and according to EN18849-1 PL-e or SIL3, provides users with two independent STO control channels to prevent accidental motor starting function, which are executed by hardware. The failure of any control channel does not affect the function of preventing the driver from starting in another channel. For example, the STO function tolerates any signal fault, but cannot tolerate fault accumulation. This is suitable for its declared security level. If one or two STO control inputs require STO function, the driver will not start, or even if the driver software malfunctions attempting to start the motor.
The STO function is hardware execution, blocking all software attempts. The only involvement of the software is to report the STO status and prompt the user through MMI, serial communication links, or AC890 defined control board terminals.
Note: STO is an electronic block designed for the normal operation and use of equipment, rather than for equipment maintenance, repair, replacement, and other similar activities. For these activities, confirm that electrical power isolation equipment and program lockdowns must be used.
