三相380V电机应用非常广泛，在某些只有单相电源的情况下，也可以通过一些办法把三相电机改为两相电机的。但是也容易存在一些问题。比如：启动困难、输出功率不够，大约只有60%左右、转矩小没力、容易发热、长时间运行影响寿命等。改造前提首先必须要确定三相电机的三个绕组首尾端是否正确。三相电机首尾端如果错乱，改了以后会引起电机烧毁。如果三相电机接线端子没拆过，或者接入三相电能正常运行，说明端子是正确的。也可以直接看电机接线盒里的端子编号排布，正确排列如下（注意看线标）：接线三相改单相一共Y型和△型两种接法。
