3500/53 133388-01 Bently used to drive isolation valves on factory water flow
Rotork electric and pneumatic actuators have been installed to help deliver fresh drinking water to residential areas in Germany.
Stadtwerke Lohr am Main has obtained 39 GT pneumatic piston actuators and 13 CK modular electric actuators for two municipal water plants supplying water to the town of Lohr am Main in Bavaria and surrounding areas. The gas turbine actuator is installed in Schweinberg's factory, while the CK electric actuator is installed in Wobach's factory.
In these two places, water is extracted from six springs and two deep wells, while being treated at seven waterworks. The actuator is installed on 2 to 12 inch butterfly and gate valves to drive isolation valves on these factory water flows for filtration, storage, and distribution.
