Lasting adhesiveness has other names such as holding power, shear adhesion, shear resistance, Static Shear Adhesion etc. This test measures the adhesion of sample to standard steel panel - A strip of tape is applied to a standard steel panel and the panel is mounted vertically, a standard mass is attached to the free end of the tape and the time to failure is determined.
LAT-01 Lasting Adhesiveness Tester is for the test of lasting adhesive/holding power of pressure sensitive adhesive tapes, labels and other interrelated products.
