Steel Fibre Refractory Castable
Introduction:
Steel Fibre Castable (also called Steel Fibre bonded refractory castable or steel fibres reinforced refractory castable), The main composition of steel fiber castables is special grade bauxite clinker, high-quality bauxite clinker and fine corundum powder are synthesized In production, it is necessary to add ultra-fine powder and other composite materials as binders and additives for steel fiber castables, and A certain size of heat resistant rustless steel fiber is added. Due to the addition of steel fibers, the overall strength of the furnace wall is greatly improved after the material is poured.
Steel Fibers Castable can be classified into two types of stainless fiber Castable Refractory and nickeled stainless fiber reinforced refractory castable. Of which, nickeled stainless fiber reinforced refractory castable has better high temperature resistance property and high resistance to rubbing. Also have good structure stability and gas tightness, physical & chemical property and great construction property.
Properties
Steel Fibre Castable is widely used in cement rotary kiln mouth, cooling machine, coal injection pipe, decomposition furnace, preheater and other parts. Castable refractory steel fiber have good properties of high strength and good toughness and thermal shock stability is good ,which have good resistance to flaking & good wear resistance.
1. It can inhibit the shrinkage of refractory castables during curing, baking and high temperature use.
2. Improve the toughness, mechanical shock resistance and mechanical strength of the refractory castable.
3. Improve the thermal shock resistance of the refractory castable.
4. Prevent the microcracks generated in the refractory castable from expanding or extending under the action of thermal stress and mechanical stress to cause cracking or spalling.
