Classification according to the degree of hazard of the cargo material
UN big bags are certificated by an independent expert institutions after passed 5 unique stages of testing.
The bags are produced from 200kgs to 2000kgs loading capacity according to end user’s specific require, and produced at 6:1 safety factor.
We will perform 6 tests in our warehouse by ourselves to verify the quality of UN bags:
● Top lift test
● Drop test
● Topple test
● Righting test
● Stacking test
● Tear test
All qualified UN big bags will have a valid UN certificate and the certificate information is marked visibly on each bag and the valid time for certificate normally within one year.
UN big bags applications:
UN big bags normally used in transporting and storing goods which are classified as hazardous or dangerous materials.
Lifting loops style: Cross corner lops, side loops, Single (Double) stevedore, Sleeve loops etc.
● Raw materials polypropylene, we use 100% virgin material which 50% imported from abroad and balance purchased from China’s Sinopec.
● Draw bench yarn, which are subjected to strength and quality tests are wound directly to the weaving loom Machine.
● The fabric weaved on according to customer’s require and weaved out circular shape or divided into one layer flat fabric. This depends on the style of the big bag ( U panel jumbo bag or Circular jumbo bag or 4 panel jumbo bag)
● The fabric lamination, Our lamination machine can do maximum 250cm width fabric and up to 40gsm one or 2 side lamination. We can also provide BOPP lamination for bulk big bag.
● QA & QC for weaving fabric and Yarn testing.
● Sewing: After lamination and cut into suitable size of woven fabric, the fabric transferred to the sewing department for sewing. The bags sewing strictly under the technique sheet of the sample confirmed before mass production.
● Inspection: After sewing, the bags will do quality inspection piece by piece and then Dust -proof treatment to make sure clean with good quality.
● The prepared bags are packaged on bales or pallets according to the demands of customers and ready to delivery.
● Delivery: For Sample orders, it normally ship by Express or by Air as it’s the fastest way to collect and the freight will be higher. And shipment by sea and by train (Truck) are both available. It’s according to client’s require. We can provide any type of Certificate of Origin.
FAQ:
1. What is UN Certification?
UN Certification is a certification tested by an independent testing laboratory. It should put the specified big bag through a set of rigorous test, including: drop test, topple test, and tear test.
2. How long is the validity for a UN certificate?
Usually 1 year from the date of testing.
3. Do you stock UN Certified big bags?
Normally we don’t stock UN Certified big bags only if our customers have specific require.
Bulk Bags that are tested by a third party testing facility. After passed the testing, there should be issued a certificate with specific UN Certification number. The UN number is refers to these specific bag being filled with a specific product and tested for a specific packing group. The UN number has an expiration date which gives the bag a shelf life for usage.
