The45C1 programmable controller is a large, rectangular device with only a few different components on its faceplate. There are six status indicator lights which will illuminate whenever the following labeled statues are relevant: “RUN,” “POWER,” “CPU READY,” “COM DATA,” “FORCING,” and “RAIL FAULT.” Below those lights, there is a fuse that is labeled as being “115/230 VAC, 3AG, 1 Amp.” Below the fuse, there are six terminals which all have different functions. On the right of all of these different components, there are five ports: the top one is a large female port while the remaining four are smaller male ports.

This particular programmable controller is capable of reaching great speeds while being incredibly functional and reliable at the same time. The 45C1 programmable controller is comparatively much smaller than many other programmable controllers, but is still has many of the standard features that are found within these much larger programmable controllers. The 45C1 programmable controller has strong memory capabilities rated at 1K x 16 non-volatile memory with no battery installation required. In addition to that, the 45C115 programmable controller has a Ladder Element Execution Speed of 4 milliseconds/K, extensive diagnostics, and an internal ladder diagram language.
