The Woodward 8406-113 is a controller module manufactured by the Woodward Company. It belongs to the Woodward egcp-3 Engine Generator Control Suite Load Sharing (ls) model family and is primarily used to work in conjunction with other ls units to control and monitor the generator system.
The controller module has the following features:
Microprocessor based unit design: with strong computing and processing capabilities, accurate control and complex logic operations can be achieved.
Specific input voltage range: The rated input voltage is 18-32V DC, which needs to be used in this voltage range to ensure normal operation.
Wide operating temperature range: Rated operating temperature range from -20 to + 70°C, can adapt to a variety of different working environment temperature conditions.
As a fully integrated generator control panel, egcp-3 (p/n:8406-113) can control complex, multi-generator, multi-utility power supply systems, as well as monitor and adjust related parameters such as status information and alarm logs. It has a keyboard and display interface, including two backlit lcd screens that allow the user to monitor and adjust parameters simultaneously, the screen can display eight lines of status information, the user can choose four lines of configuration or view alarm log information. However, before the first boot, the 8406-113 must be configured through the boot menu, and these configurations cannot be edited while the engine is running.
With standard operation, the user can obtain configuration points 8406-113 from the front panel display. Other configuration points (as well as standard configuration points) can be accessed from the monitor window software via the servlink communication serial link. In addition, the control unit offers nine status menus for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
