Sorbitan oleate aslo known as span 80 is oily liquid with color from amber to brown the relative density is 102.9 melting point 10-12℃ flash point 210℃ with fatty odor insoluble in water solopyl alcohol four vinyl chloride xylene cottonseed oil mineral oil is a kind of advanced lipophilic emulsifier;

Span 80 is an extremely mild but very powerful nonionic emulsifier. It is part of a broad range of ester materials including sorbitan esters, mono and diglycerides, and polyoxyethylene sorbitol esters. These nonionic surfactants can function as emulsifiers, detergents, spreading or dispersing agents. It finds wide use in the personal care industry.

1. It is hard to dissolve in water, soluble in hot oil and organic solvents. It is a high lipophilic emulsifier. 2. Used for W/O emulsion explosive, nylon and viscose cord oil, it has good smoothing effect on fiber. It is used for emulsification of machinery, coatings, chemicals and explosives. It can be used as emulsifier in heavy oil drilling mud, emulsifier in food and cosmetic production, dispersant in paint and paint industry, stabilizer in titanium dioxide production, insecticide, wetting agent and emulsifier in pesticide production, auxiliary solvent in petroleum products, and antirust agent in antirust oil. Lubricants and softeners for textiles and leather. 3. As a film antifogging agent, it has good initial and low temperature antifogging property. The dosage of PVC is 1-1.5%, and that of polyolefin is 0.5-0.7%. |

S-80 are packaged in 50Kg plastic barrels; in 200kg Mental drum and in 200kg HDPE drum
Storage and transportation is according with general chemicals.
