GE Mark VIe IS420UCECH1B   Controller Module  is a version of the available unmanaged Ethernet switch designed and manufactured by GE for its Mark VIe turbine control system. Mark VIe is designed to manage a single turbine as easily and effectively as an entire plant. According to the needs of relevant turbine systems, the system can be constructed in simplex form or TMR (Triple Modular Redundancy) architecture.The IS420ESWBH3A, which is one of five available versions of the ESWB switch, has sixteen individual ports that each support 10/100Base-tx connections. The unit also offers 100 Mbps FX uplink and full-duplex and half-duplex auto-negotiation. The unit is compatible with 802.3, 802.3u, and 802.3x Ethernet. This module is built as a single unit with all ports located on one side in two lines of eight. Each port is numbered. Additionally, each port offers its own LED indicators that allow users to notate the presence of activity, link, and speed within that port. There is a single LED indicator located at the end of the Ethernet ports for indicating power to the entire unit and other diagnostic LEDs for Activity located at their other end.The IS420ESWBH3A typically installs using DIN-rail mounting. The unit can be installed in a parallel or perpendicular configuration. However, if the unit is replacing a previously installed 3rd-party switch, it can also use the established mounting brackets whether they are for DIN rails or panel. The unit is designed with several screw holes to allow for a panel mounting option.
