The titanium carbide cermet rod(TiC rod) belongs to the steel-bonded cemented carbide, which is a kind of compound material based on the steel as the binder phase and used the refractory metal carbide(mainly the titanium carbide and the tungsten carbide) as
the hard phase. The TiC rod is the high-hardness and high-strength titanium-based alloy composite material. The main varieties of steel-bonded cemented carbide included the tool, mold and wear parts (grade: GT35, R5); the mining tools and hammer head alloys
(grade: TM52, TM60, GB10). Among them, the GT35 used as a guide wheel and the TM52&TM60 used as crusher hammer head insertt have extremely broad development prospects.
