The round cooling water fill's primary role is heat-elimination in the cooling tower. It is a crucial component in the exchange of water and gas process in the cooling tower.
The fill is manufactured from PP or PVC sheets which are solvent-welded for maximum strength and resistance to organic and inorganic solvents, rot, fungus, UV, alkalis, acids and chemicals that are usually present in water. The fill has a unique design for counterflow round type cooling tower which is its most popular heat eliminating medium.
LYR Cooling tower fill
The fill is manufactured from PP or PVC sheets which are solvent-welded for maximum strength and resistance to organic and inorganic solvents, rot, fungus, UV, alkalis, acids and chemicals that are usually present in water. The fill has a unique design for counterflow round type cooling tower which is its most popular heat eliminating medium.
Round cooling tower fill is a good fill packing for round shape cooling tower. Counter flow fill packing is full of the tower bottom and without any glue and installation, just only loose the fill rolls from a fasten packing fill to be a space packing fill.
FEATURES
It request the thickness is above 0.3mm-0.4mm, and the roll height is 200mm,240mm,250mm,280mm,300mm. Usually 300mm is the normal size. We make the round cooling tower fill by PVC or PP material.
The round PVC fill roll diameter is 750mm, we can load 3500kgs in a 20 feet container if the unit roll weight is 15kgs; The round PP fill roll diameter is 1000mm, and we can load 1500kgs in a 20 feet container if the unit roll weight is 15kgs. The reason of the same weight but with the different roll diameter is that the PP material is less flexible and larger hardness than PVC material.

Cooling tower fill
COOLING TOWER FILL is also named as cooling tower filler, cooling tower infill, cooling tower fill packing and cooling tower fill media.Cooling tower fill is made of PVC or PP plain plate, hot pressed in the certain mould and then produced to be different designs used in different cooling towers. Especially in the industrial cooling towers.
No matter how to name it, the main usage is a media located in the bottom or middle of the industrial cooling tower. Some of towers will be full of the fill media,others will have half and half of the tower.Only large industrial tower will install 1 layer in the bottom.
COOLING TOWER FILL
The cooling tower size and shape will decide which kinds of fills will be used. Round cooling towers use the fill media with a round shape, square cooling towers use the square or rectangle shape. There is another special shape of the fill, such as the trapezoid shape fill,it can be used in square cooling tower too.
About the cooling tower fill thickness, It ranges from 0.27mm to 0.5mm. Some people thought the thicker, the better. Considering the tower’ s size and installation method,we advise to use the suitable thickness. If the width is less than 1.22meter, we advise to use the thickness less than 0.38mm; if the thickness is more than 1.22meter, such as 1.52meter, we advise the thickness should be more than 0.38mm. It is like a paper. If the width is very large, the thickness should be thick enough to bear the weight and strength.
Raw materials
About the raw materials, it is very important.Good quality will assure you the cooling tower fill without any deformed in the process of use. How to choose the good raw material? We Lanyu cooling tower fill will help you resolve the important point.We make the raw material PVC plate ourselves with 100% new polyvinyl chloride particle,the features are fast forming without deformed easily. We also import the PVC plate from Taiwan to produce the cooling tower fill as per customer request. The imported raw material PVC plate is very suitable for large width fill media,but the life time is same as our PVC plate. The only different is the different price. Imported raw material PVC plate price is a little higher.
