600mm Fiberglass reinforced plastics Power line marker balls aerial sphere marker balls
If you pay attention to most power lines, you will realize some big colored aerial sphere marker balls that hang along the length of these power lines. These are power line marker balls which warn low-flying aircraft so as not to ruin them. For one to protect the power lines and other valuable property from low flying aircraft, they will need to use these power line balls. Additionally, the same balls could be used on guy wires and communication lines as well. Power line marker balls are made of Fiberglass reinforced plastics which have a diameter of about 600mm and 800mm all designed to meet customer’s needs. The diameter should, however, not be below 600mm. The power balls could be of different colors; that are white, orange or red. However, a single power ball is constructed to have only one solid color. The color that is chosen for a particular power line is determined by the background against which it is seen. In this case, the color chosen should contrast with the background and thus help ensure security. Our power balls are made up of two hemispheres, both of which have aluminum alloy clamps. These clamps are designed to fit the preferences, needs and the wire dimensions of the customer. Each of these hemispheres has a drainage system which helps prevent water from accumulating inside the sphere as this would cause more harm than good.
The weight of the power line marker ball is about 17 pounds each. These helps ensure that the weight is not too much for the power lines they are reflecting to bear. They come in three primary colors, orange, white and red. The three are among the most reflective colors and allow the pilot to stop them even from a far. During installation, they have a gap of about 200-foot between them; that is between one power ball and another. The distance is put that way also as a way to enhance visibility. They are installed in the highest wire among all those that they are expected to make visible They use an alternate color theme to help provide clear visibility without hindrances from the background. In case the color used in one spot is white, the next color will be orange and later red. They allow wire sag of about 25 feet to help the wires expand and contract in case of a temperature change. This way, they never are violate the sag requirements of the wires that they are marking. Have a conductor diameter of 6.5- 5.5 mm Visibility distance for the power line marker balls is 1200m. From this far, anyone can tell that there is a power line or communication line that they need to evade and know the course to take.
Have a voltage range of about 35KV- 1000KV There are some drain holes in the sphere which help get rid of water in the power line marker balls. Having water remain in the balls would make them heavy which will overload the wires and even make them fall. Have a cable clamp which is made up of aluminum alloy
