Dongjie Wire Mesh offers micro expanded metal with various hole patterns and can be made of various metal materials.
Micro expanded metal can be made of almost all kinds of metal sheet. Except for carbon steel, aluminium, stainless steel, copper, it also can be made of nickel, titanium and other materials.
The same as you know about common expanded metal, micro expanded metal is formed in an expanding process. In this process, the basic metal is simultaneously slit and cold-formed with high precision technology. Finished with various optional patterns and one-piece structure, it is durable and economical for filter element & support, gutter filter, batteries grid plate, aesthetic paneling, decorative mesh and so on.

Styles of Expanded Metal
Regular (standard or raised) – all expanded metal is produced in regular form off the expanders. The strands and bonds are set at a uniform angle to the plane of the sheet. This gives added strength and rigidity, as well as a skid resistant surface.
Flattened – is manufactured by processing regular expanded metal in a rolling mill. The rolling process reduces the thickness of the original base metal.
Design Designations
Strands – The sides of the expanded metal design
Strand Thickness – Thickness of the base material from which the sheet was produced.
Strand Width – Amount of metal fed under dies to produce one strand
Strand Thickness and Width – Can be varied to create different openings.
The width of the strand should equal or exceed the thickness of the base metal.
SWD – Nominal dimension, Short Way of Diamond
LWD – Nominal dimension, Long Way of Diamond
Design Size – Actual dimension SWD and LWD.
Measured from a point to a corresponding point on the adjacent diamond.
SWO – Short Way of Opening
LWO – Long Way of Opening
Bond – Where two strands intersect

Generally, our payment term is T/T 30% in advance and the balance 70% against the copy of B/L. Other payment term we can also discuss.
