It can withstand a high temperature of 400℃.

4. How to use the cast iron teapot.
How to use cast iron teapot when you get a new one.
1). Cleaning
Clean it with frash water then boiling water 2-3 times with it. Rinse inner and outer surface with a brush with water.
Then this cast iron teapot is cleaned well.
2). Adding water
Water capacity should be less than 70% of teapot capacity. Otherwise it's easy over flow.
3). The time it takes for water boiling
1200ml: about 6 minutes
1800ml: about 10 minutes
Please dry it after using.
1. You could dry it with towel.
2. Or you could put it on the warmer, residue hot will dry it.
Tips: please dry the top edges of teapot and the edge of lid.
