How to use cast iron teapot when you get a new one.
1). Cleaning
Clean it with frash water then boiling water 2-3 times with it.
Rinse inner and outer surface with a brush with water. Then this cast iron teapot is cleaned well.
2). Adding water
Water capacity should be less than 70% of teapot capacity. Otherwise it's easy over flow.
3). The time it takes for water boiling
1200ml: about 6 minutes
1800ml: about 10 minutes
4) Please dry it after using.
1. You could dry it with towel.
2. Or you could put it on the warmer, residue hot will dry it.
Tips: please dry the top edges of teapot and the edge of lid.
