Stainless steel grating is a kind of steel product which is made of flat steel and cross bars at a certain distance and welded into a square lattice in the middle. It is mainly used for ditch cover plate, steel structure platform plate, steel ladder step plate, etc. The cross bar is generally made of twisted square steel.

The production standard of stainless steel grille is Yb / t4001-1998 in China; In addition, the United States, Britain, Australia and New Zealand also have their own standards. The steel standards are in accordance with GB700-88 and gb1220-92.
The surface of the steel grating can be punched to increase the anti-skid performance. The flat steel can also be made of I-type flat steel.
The production methods of stainless steel grating: there are two types: machine pressure welding and manual production. The machine pressure welding uses a high-voltage resistance pressure welding machine. The robot automatically places the cross bar on the flat steel evenly arranged, and presses the cross bar into the flat steel through strong electric welding power and hydraulic pressure, so as to obtain a high-quality steel grating with strong welding joints, high stability and high strength. The hand-made steel grating is punched on the flat steel first, and then the cross bar is put into the hole for spot welding. There is a gap between the cross bar and the flat steel, and it is impossible to weld every contact point. Therefore, the welding is not firm and the strength is reduced.
