Usage Overview

The Non-nuclear asphalt density gauge is directly proportional to the dielectric constant of the material being tested. In the
case of a magnetic field generated by the sensing plate, the Lovely-2701 uses an innovative, spiral magnetic field to test the
dielectric constant. The field signal is converted to a material density reading by the electronic components of the Lovely-2701
and displayed on the screen. Once the instrument is calibrated, the density can be read once.
