1.Description

1).Rollball’s 10g xfp module are compliant with the current XFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) Specification. They comply with 10-Gigabit Ethernet 10GBASE-LR/LW per IEEE 802.3ae and 10G Fibre Channel 1200-SM-LL-L. Digital diagnostics functions are available via a 2-wire serial interface, as specified in the XFP MSA.

2).The transceiver module comprises a transmitter with uncooled EML laser and a receiver with a PIN photodiode. 3).Transmitter and receiver are separate within a wide temperature range of 5°C to +70°C and offers optimum heat dissipation and excellent electromagnetic shielding thus enabling high port densities for 10 GbE systems.
