Pneumatic conveying system, also known as airflow conveying, uses the energy of airflow to convey granular materials along the airflow direction in a closed pipeline, which is a specific application of fluidization technology. Pneumatic conveying system can be divided into negative pressure conveying and positive pressure conveying. Negative pressure conveying generally uses Roots vacuum pump as power source, which pumps the material tank to a certain vacuum state, causing the air inlet to form two-phase flow of materials and gas under the action of atmospheric pressure, which is input into cyclone separator through conveying pipeline. The two-phase flow separates most materials and gases in cyclone separator due to centrifugal force and gravity, and enters the material tank, and a small amount of materials and gases enter the dust collector, and the powder and gas are separated and recovered by filter bag, and the gas is discharged into the atmosphere. Roots blower is generally used as the power source for positive pressure pneumatic conveying, and the outlet of the blower is cooled to an appropriate temperature and stored in an air tank. The dilute phase transportation means that the material enters the pipeline from the sending tank, and the compressed gas is opened and closed at a fixed frequency by the electromagnetic valve to form a pulse air flow (air knife). The material is distributed by the air knife (the material is in a plunger state in the pipeline), and the static pressure difference before and after the plug is used as a driving force to push the material forward. After the material-gas mixture enters the tank with a pulse dust collector, the gas is separated from the material, so that the material can be stored and discharged. Positive-pressure dense-phase transportation means that the materials are suspended in the sending tank (pressure vessel) by pressing the tank, and the discharge valve is opened. After the gas-powder mixer is transported from the upper pipeline of the tank into the tank with pulse dust collector, the gas and the materials are separated to realize the storage of the materials and the discharge of the gas.
