High precision MYDZ series measuring light curtain for high-precision detection and measurement. Typically applied on online testing , channel detection , precision correction, holes detection and similar detection and measurement. Each set of light curtain including a pair of high resolution light curtain and two cables.


Working Principle:

MYDZ series Light Curtain Sensor consists of transmitter and receiver, the light emitted by the transmitter direct to the receiver formed the light curtain system. Placed between the transmitter and the receiver object will block part of the light that it cannot reach all parts to corresponding receiver devices. MYDZ series measurement light curtain use synchronous scanning to identify blocked channel. First, a light beam is emitted by the transmitter and at the same time the corresponding receiver find the light beam. After finishing scan the channel found by the receiver, then turn to the next channel until all the scans have been completed. When the scan is complete a cycle, the system will record which channel through and which channel are blocked. According to the definition of the system outputs signal, this signal can be analog signal or switching signal.

Control Output type

1. Switching Output: NPN/PNP output
2. Analog Output: 4-20mA, 1-5V DC, 0-5V DC, 0-10V DC, it can be connected with host computer or other data acquisition systems.
3. Communication output: RS485 or RS232 communication, using standard Modbus protocol agreement with the host computer.

Scanning Method:

1. Parallel Scanning (Default): Scan all beams, the transmitter’s emission and the receiver’s receives is corresponding (one to one) relationship.
2. Intersect Scanning: Composed of parallel scanning and inclined beam. Inclined beam is the second channel of the emitter corresponding to the first channel of the receiver, the third channel of emitter corresponding to the second channel of the receiver until the final channel of the emitter corresponding to the last but one channel of the receiver to complete the scan. Therefore, the intersect scanning can improve the detection accuracy of part of 1/3 distance detection.
