Description:
Hall effect sensor can be used to sense the speed and position of a rotating motor.
The DC motor speed sensors are based on using the Hall element to sense the change influx in the air gap between a magnet and a notch in a rotating shaft. The main advantage of Hall effect speed sensors is that they are a non-contact sensor that is not limited by mechanical wear. The circuitry inside the sensor typically consists of a pulse counter to provide an output signal that can be directly connected to the motor controller.

Applied to: AMD (KDS) DC motors (speed sensor / encoder, widly used in Club Car, EZGO, John Deere, Eagle and Lvtong golf carts and mobility vehicles)
Operating temperature range: -50°C to +125°C
Connector: DT triangle type or AMP flat type 3-Pin waterproof connect
Wiring (example: DC SepEx Motor Controller Assemblage, Model: 1268-5403):
Red wire: power +
Black: power -
Green: speed signal
Installation position: rear end of motor (see example: XP-2067-S DC SepEx motor or ZSQ48-3.8-T DC SepEx motor. Please pay attention to the difference of connectors.)
Package:Normally we use the standard exporting packaging. We also can according to clients' request .
