Introduction of Laboratory Glass Rotary Evaporator
Rotary evaporator is a commonly used evaporator product. The heating methods include electric heating, hot water heating, heat-conducting oil circulation heating, far-infrared heating, outer (inner) coil heating, etc. The cooling method is jacket cooling and kettle inner pan. Tube cooling, the form of agitating blades, etc., are widely used in industries, chemicals, machinery, metallurgy and other fields.
Laboratory Glass Rotary Evaporator Working Method
Rotary evaporators are mainly used for concentration, crystallization, drying, separation and solvent recovery in the
pharmaceutical, chemical and biopharmaceutical industries. The principle is to heat the rotating bottle at a constant speed under vacuum conditions, so that the material forms a large-area film on the bottle wall and evaporates efficiently. The solvent vapor is cooled by a high-efficiency glass condenser and recovered in the collection bottle, which greatly improves the evaporation efficiency. It is especially suitable for the concentration and purification of biological products that are easily decomposed and denatured at high temperature.
