LUGB series vortex flowmeter is a new type of flowmeter with international advanced level based on the
principle of Carmen vortex street. It is an international advanced level flowmeter developed by using the technology of

be used to measure the flow of gas, liquid and steam. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, thermal,
textile, paper-making, power, environmental protection and municipal construction industries.
The selection and use of explosion-proof
vortex flowmeter are as follows:
● Correctly classify the categories of explosive dangerous sites on site; Correctly select and
install the explosion-proof vortex flowmeter; Perform instrument maintenance and overhaul
correctly.
● The division, selection, installation and maintenance of explosion hazard sites are strictly in
accordance with the explosion-proof electrical safety standard system. "Classification of
dangerous places (GB3836, 14-2000)", "electrical installation of dangerous places (GB3836,
15-2000)", maintenance of electrical equipment used in explosive gas environment (GB3836,
13-1997) ".
● According to the design requirements, confirm the selection is consistent with the design
requirements (vortex flowmeter model specifications, voltage grade, shell protection, installation
method, explosion-proof mark, cable, cable threading steel pipe inlet thread, etc.).
● To determine the installation position, there should be enough space and passage around the
instrument. Generally, the following factors should be considered: easy to use, easy to operate,
run, check and repair, emergency treatment (emergency power), etc. Avoid adverse factors, such
as water flow, rain, thunder, humidity, thermal radiation, high temperature body, vibration, etc.
● Grounding is one of the most important protection measures in instrument electrical
technology. The purpose of this connection is electrical grounding and to make some fluids
generate a large number of static charges in the process of transmission, lightning due to
electromagnetic induction or electrostatic induction will also gather a large number of static
charges in the pipeline, all need a good grounding device to introduce static charges to the earth.
