Application of Firsta Coated White PET Film:
It is used as face stock of self-adhesive label, such as tyre.
BOPET (Biaxially Oriented Polyethylene Terephthalate) is a polyester film made from orientated polyethylene terephthalate (PET). BOPP stands for biaxially-oriented polypropylene. Our face stock is BOPET or BOPP film top coated with water-based paint or solvent-based paint.
The PET or PP film produced by biaxially-oriented stretching technology has the following characteristics: compared with the unstretched film, the physical properties are significantly improved, the tensile strength is 3 ~ 5 times of the unstretched film; The barrier performance is improved, and the permeability to gas and water vapor is reduced; Improved optical properties, transparency and surface gloss; Heat resistance and cold resistance are improved, and dimensional stability is good. Good thickness uniformity, small thickness deviation; Better for automation and high-speed production.
BOPET and BOPP face stock offer strength and durability that a common paper face stock cannot. For some applications, a paper label doesn’t have the durability, longevity or resistance required to meet the requirements of the self-adhesive labels.
BOPET/ BOPP film with top coating share the same physical properties with BOPET/ BOPP film.
Furthermore, Our top coated BOPET/ BOPP film have more advantages as follows:
* Increase the adhesion of UV ink.
* Suitable for UV printing, including UV flexo and UV letterpress.
* Suitable for barcode printing or thermal transfer printing.
* Suitable for digital printing, which has such features as short preparation peroid, no need for plate-making and easily proofed.
* Tolerance of alcohol, chemical solvent resistance.
